Because the Caribbean has been the destination for most of my business, I have decided that it’s time to give back to the islands. I, sincerely, wish I could send goods to every island, but I can not. So, because I have a good friend who’s family is in dire need on the island of St. Croix, I have begun a collection for the people of St. Croix, USVI.
There is much that is not shared on the news.
Did you know that after Hurricane Irma, the locals of St. Croix sent their generators and propane to St. Thomas? A week later, Hurricane Maria ravaged St. Croix and left them with no power. This is a critical situation.
Working with my friend, we are collecting goods to ship to St. Croix. We plan to make continuous shipments as soon as the port in St. Croix opens. As of this writing, it is still closed.
We will be shipping a pallet beginning September 28th IF the island port opens. We are fortunate to live near Tropical’s home port in Palm Beach, therefore we will deliver everything to them to ship. As long as we have goods to ship, we will send
If you live within 30 miles of Palm Beach, I will, personally, pick up all items donated. PLEASE read the list of items needed. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated by all. HINT: If you are able to give more than a few items, may we suggest filling a plastic bin or cooler with your donations? This is how we will pack everything to send. The reusable bins with covers and coolers will be very useful in the coming months/years.
Please join us and give back to the islands. The Caribbean Islanders are a proud and resilient people, but they still need our help. They do not have the same resources we have in the continental states…please consider lending a hand by donating much-needed items.
