Mother Nature has released her wrath…
on many Caribbean Islands within the last two weeks, and, unfortunately, another small island has felt it, head on. Hurricane Maria battered the small island of Dominica, this week. The Prime Minister has been walking the villages and organizing the efforts for clean up AND securing help from other Caribbean Islands – Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago, to name two.
The best source for the honest and true reports from the Caribbean is with the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Facebook page. If the islands are “in your heart,” as they are in mine, please read the posts. In addition, if you would like to donate to rebuilding the islands in need, the link is posted on the CTO’s website.
