Please read this Consumer Disclosure carefully. It should be read together with the Hibiscus Travel, LLC Client Travel Agreement & Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Our Role as Your Travel Advisor

Hibiscus Travel, LLC (“Hibiscus Travel”) provides professional travel planning and advisory services and arranges travel through independent third-party suppliers, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation providers, travel insurance companies, and other travel-service providers.

These suppliers are independent entities and are responsible for providing and performing the travel services they operate. Each supplier may have its own terms and conditions, cancellation policies, payment requirements, and rules, which may also apply to your reservation.

Rates, Reservations & Changes

Travel prices, availability, schedules, itineraries, accommodations, and other travel arrangements are subject to availability and may change until confirmed.

Airlines and other travel suppliers may change schedules, equipment, itineraries, fares, fees, or other components of a reservation. Changes made by the traveler may also result in additional fares, penalties, fees, or other charges imposed by the applicable supplier.

Cancellation and refund eligibility are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable travel supplier, the type of fare or reservation purchased, applicable travel insurance coverage, and applicable law.

Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

Travelers are ultimately responsible for ensuring that they possess the proper documentation and meet all requirements necessary for their trip, including passports, visas, health or vaccination requirements, entry and exit requirements, and documentation required for minors when applicable.

Hibiscus Travel may provide information and assistance concerning travel requirements; however, government requirements can change at any time and final decisions regarding entry into or exit from a country are made by the applicable governmental authorities.

Travelers are encouraged to review current information from the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at cdc.gov/travel.

U.S. citizens traveling internationally are also encouraged to consider enrolling in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).

Travel Risks

Travel may involve circumstances outside the reasonable control of Hibiscus Travel, including weather events, natural disasters, illness or disease outbreaks, acts of government, political or civil unrest, labor disruptions, transportation delays or cancellations, mechanical issues, supplier changes, and other unexpected events.

Travelers should review available destination information and travel advisories and make their own informed decisions regarding travel.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Unexpected events can occur before or during a trip. Appropriate travel insurance may provide protection for certain covered circumstances involving trip cancellation or interruption, medical emergencies, travel delays, baggage loss or delay, and other risks, depending upon the policy selected.

Hibiscus Travel can provide information regarding available travel insurance options. Coverage, exclusions, limitations, eligibility, and claims determinations are governed solely by the terms of the insurance policy and the insurance provider.

Traveler Responsibility

Travelers are responsible for reviewing their confirmations, invoices, tickets, itineraries, names, dates, accommodations, and other travel documents promptly upon receipt and notifying Hibiscus Travel immediately of any discrepancy.

Travelers are also responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms and conditions of the travel suppliers included in their arrangements.

When one traveler makes arrangements on behalf of others, that traveler is responsible for sharing applicable travel information, documents, supplier terms, and disclosures with the other travelers in the reservation or group.

Additional Terms

This Consumer Disclosure is intended to provide important general information regarding travel arranged through Hibiscus Travel, LLC.

Your travel arrangements are also subject to the Hibiscus Travel, LLC Client Travel Agreement & Terms and Conditions, applicable supplier terms and conditions, and the Hibiscus Travel, LLC Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between this Consumer Disclosure and the Client Travel Agreement & Terms and Conditions, the Client Travel Agreement & Terms and Conditions will govern, subject to applicable law.
